Welcome to a place for learning in nature.
Abrazo House is an ecological project located in a small village near the north coast of Spain. Since 2005 our 0.8 hectares of land have been developing from pasture towards a “forest garden”: a productive and self-maintaining ecosystem designed to imitate a mixed woodland.
During 2006-7 we built Snail Cabin, a small cob house using natural materials and volunteer labour. In 2008 we began work on the main house and study centre (Abrazo House), which is still under construction.
